We are looking for a Sales Manager - Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the travel industry and a strong network of existing relationships with travel/mice groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard new partners, maintain relationships with existing partners, and provide support and training
- Drive and manage sales and marketing campaigns, and seize sales opportunities
- Coordinate with other company personnel, partner sales personnel, and customers to meet expectations
- Understand customer and business needs to cross-sell and up-sell products
- Meet and onboard new clients on the travel platform
- Increase business opportunities through various routes to market
- Take the leadership role in managing the division from both a P&L and brand perspective
- Develop the business plan matching the goals of the current organization to manage, build, and guide the team to reach the business plan target
- Develop marketing strategy by studying economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying customers and their current and future needs; monitoring the competition
Requirements
- Should have exposure in the travel industry
- Should have a network and existing relationships with travel/mice groups
- Should have a deep understanding of the agents' requirements and challenges and create strategic recommendations based on this understanding
- Influence present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends
- Responsible for sales and operations for the entire region
