Job Overview:

A Sales Director opportunity has arisen in the dynamic Diesel Genset industry. As a key member of our team, you will lead and manage a sales team to promote and sell Gas genset / diesel generator sets to clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, including setting targets, providing coaching and training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • C customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging market trends.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company's customer base and market share.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals: Lead negotiations with clients, dealers, and partners to reach favorable agreements.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's diesel genset products, features, and technical specifications.
  • Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics for management review.
  • Travel: Engage in regular travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit dealers and distributors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales within the diesel genset industry or a closely related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical knowledge of diesel generator sets and power generation systems.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer preferences.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytical tools.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
