Summary:

You will play a critical role in driving revenue by identifying and engaging prospective clients, understanding their insurance needs, and offering tailored solutions. You will work closely with external sales teams, underwriters, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and support.

Job Responsibilities:

The position holder shall be responsible for:

  • Identifying potential clients through market research, cold calling, and leveraging digital platforms.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their business and insurance requirements, building long-term relationships.
  • Providing clients with detailed information about various insurance products, such as property, liability, health, and life insurance, ensuring they choose the best coverage for their needs.
  • Driving sales by effectively communicating value propositions, negotiating terms, and closing leads.
  • Working closely with external sales and account management teams to align strategies and meet sales targets.
  • Ensuring all client interactions, proposals, and policies are documented accurately. Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Providing insights and feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to help refine sales strategies.

Academic Qualification and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in lead generation/inside sales, preferably in the General Insurance or Insurance broking industry.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse levels of management.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Brokers Regulations and Insurance Products.
  • Good working knowledge of MS-Office applications (Word, PPT, Excel).

Estimated Salary: ₹8,50,000 - ₹12,00,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
