Strategic Account Manager

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual sales results and business growth through effective management of established customer relationships. This includes developing compelling customer value propositions, defining opportunities for new business, and building strong relationships with distributors to ensure high-quality products and services are delivered to end-customers.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual sales results and business growth through effective customer relationship management
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Manage and develop distributors to provide high-quality products and services to end-customers
- Serve as a lead contracts negotiator on commercial terms and coordinate internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Act as the central resource for communications with customers on new product developments and ensure timely delivery of sales systems and market reports
- Provide reliable sales forecasts to ensure proper product availability planning
- Develop long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for new business growth
- Collect customer and market competition information to support market strategy development and cost control initiatives
- Ownership of customer complaint resolution
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Education: University graduate or post-graduate degree in Chemistry or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the Agro Chemicals industry, specifically in Crop Protection and Surfactants applications
- Skills: Good command of English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under high pressure, and willingness to travel frequently
