Job Title: Key Account Business Development Manager – Sales Growth

About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Business Development Manager to drive sales growth by nurturing and expanding relationships with key clients.

Main Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to meet sales targets while contributing to overall business growth.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain regular interactions and follow-ups to nurture existing relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt resolutions to build trust and satisfaction.
  • Engage potential clients to introduce the company's products and services, generating new business opportunities.
  1. Sales Operations:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets while contributing to overall business growth.
  • Generate sales revenue through existing clients, dealers, and distributors networks.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to highlight benefits.
  1. Coordination and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure seamless order processing and timely delivery.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  1. Market Intelligence:
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Keep records of sales activities, client interactions, and feedback using CRM software.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Commerce (B.Com), BSc.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B, OEM, or channel sales.
  • Hands-on experience in managing key accounts and driving customer retention.
  • Experience with industrial products such as pipes, valves, filters, pumps, pharmaceutical equipment, or chemical products is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills.
