Job Title - Employee Onboarding Coordinator

Location: Chennai, India

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Employee Onboarding Coordinator to join our team at Movate. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new employees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome new hires and execute the engagement plan throughout their onboarding journey.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and HR to initiate background checks for new hires.
  • Communicate with candidates to obtain necessary information and permissions for background verification.
  • Liaise with external background check vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of screenings.
  • Review background check reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues identified during the background screening process.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all processes.
  • Proactively identify process improvements and implement changes.

Requirements:

  • A graduation degree.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of global HR operations and 3+ years of relevant work experience in a professional services or multi-national company.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • SERVICE-ORIENTED, FLEXIBLE, AND ABLE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE WITH AMAZING ATTENTION TO DETAILS.
