About the Opportunity
VergeCloud is a pioneering company in the CDN, cloud security, and edge computing space. We are looking for a skilled Sales Director to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with enterprise clients.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
- Collaborating with Sales Engineers to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline.
- Leading by example, coaching, and mentoring other sales team members.
What We're Looking For
- 7-12 years of experience in cloud solutions sales, with a strong track record of closing enterprise deals.
- Educational pedigree from top-tier institutions in Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven ability to succeed in a hybrid role, balancing individual sales responsibilities with leadership duties.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a deep understanding of the cloud infrastructure landscape.
- Experience using CRM tools to manage and optimize the sales pipeline.
