Cloud Sales Lead for Public Sector Clients

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our business development efforts in the public sector. This is a challenging role that requires a deep understanding of the government accounts market and a proven track record of success in driving sales growth.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting for potential new clients in Central Govt./State Govt./PSU Accounts
- Deep understanding and knowledge of RFI and RFP submissions
- Technically sound to prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business in IT/DC/Cloud/SI
- Call prospects as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Identify and prospect potential clients in Government/PSUs & manage relationship in order to generate business for ESDS
- Plan approaches and pitches
- Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives and pitch them the right solutions
- Participate & Attend industry functions, such as associations, events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
Requirements:
- At least 10+ years experience within a B2B sales or account management role where you have worked with public sector clients
- Candidates with an established commercial network in the public sector would be preferred
