Job Description:

The Sales Manager - Govt will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify new business opportunities in the government sector. This includes:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with government clients and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
  • Acting as the main point of contact for key government accounts and providing tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of solutions.
  • Monitoring account performance and identifying opportunities for growth within government sectors.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed account status reports to government stakeholders.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit while ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Managing the entire bid and proposal process, including tendering, documentation, and submission.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on government clients.
  • Proven experience in managing bids, proposals, and tendering processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with government officials.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Salary: The base salary for this role is ₹12,00,000 per annum, plus incentives and benefits.
