This is an excellent opportunity to join our Application Sales Team - Public Sector sales team and take advantage of the growth of our market-leading SaaS platform.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate staying power in your sales career, self-awareness in embracing your strengths and areas for development, and a desire to continue developing your consultative selling skills in a vendor environment like ours. These are hunting roles, but our brand is a door opener, and you'll be working with existing customers as well.
Key Responsibilities
You will not only sell but also have the opportunity to promise clients increased agility, insightful decision-making, greater productivity, and lower costs. Our Cloud solutions are designed to help any business grow smarter and faster.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing professional and deep relationships with key personnel in assigned public sector customers and prospects.
- Leading account planning, including strategy, financial targets, and critical milestones.
- Managing the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate Pre-Sales, Consulting, and Partner resources.
- Defining value propositions and driving the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns.
- Understanding the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Oracle ERP, EPM & SCM Cloud offerings.
- Pipeline development through a combination of phone calls, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence.
- Creatingsales pipelines to hit and surpass goals consistently.
- Engaging with prospects to position Oracle solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data.
- Generating short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation.
- Accurate quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Must have demonstrated 4-5 years tenure in at least one role involving sales - we need stable and consistent closers.
Ability to offer unique perspectives by reframing and challenging the way customers view their business; know how to structure a sales pitch to highlight customer benefits before supplier strengths.
Adept at driving two-way communication by clearly articulating value proposition and teaching to customer's pain points.
Ability to quickly develop a deep knowledge of customer's business and discuss issues from multiple angles.
Understanding the decision-making process and have the ability to influence key decision makers.
Experience selling high-end software solutions or consulting services to Public Sector
Experience closing deals with government leaders or similar business leaders.
