Job Title: Distribution Client Engagement Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Distribution Client Engagement Manager to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing global and local distribution partners across all industry segments, driving business generation, and spearheading special initiatives within the assigned territory in the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement distribution channel strategies to drive business growth and expand market reach across all industry segments in the Indian market.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with global and local distribution partners to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with Microchip's objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to conversion, through distribution partners, driving quarterly revenue targets.
  • Monitor distributor performance, manage channel conflicts, and provide regular feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness in achieving targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including key account managers, product managers, and technical teams, to ensure successful execution of sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Plan and execute client training programs utilizing channel resources and internal experts to enhance partner capabilities and product knowledge.
  • Develop specific market penetration strategies involving channel partners to drive growth in Mega Trends and Total System Solution sales in the channel.
  • Conduct business reviews and devise new strategies to better utilize channel resources for achieving growth objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback on competitive activities, customer requirements, and industry trends to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or E&C Engineering, or a related field with a strong academic track record.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on channel management and distribution partner engagement.
  • Proven track record of managing global and local distribution partners and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside India for business development and partner management.
