Job Overview

This is a key position within our organization's leadership team, responsible for driving the development and implementation of resource mobilization strategies.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, developing, and executing strategic initiatives to diversify funding streams. This involves securing institutional donors, both domestic and international, multilateral agencies, corporate and family foundations, ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNIs), and emerging models such as blended finance and innovative funding.

Closely collaborating with thematic leads, the ideal candidate will co-create compelling pitches, proposals, and donor-aligned program designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong track record in fundraising, with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience working with institutional donors.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Business Development/Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Key Performance Indicators

The successful candidate will be a natural networker, able to leverage collaborative relationships to support the achievement of work goals.

They will also possess strong negotiation skills, with the ability to explore alternatives and position to reach mutually acceptable outcomes.

In addition to their technical skills and experience, the ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to deliver well-prepared presentations and tailor content to suit the specific needs and characteristics of the audience.
