About the Role
As a Senior Vendor Partnership Manager at Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) Team of Retail Business Services in ADCI - Karnataka - A66, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering strategies for managing AVS vendors. The ideal candidate will be a bright, customer-centric, driven, and creative professional with excellent communication skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across major functional areas such as site merchandising, buying, inventory management, finance, operations, and online marketing to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. You will focus on operational aspects of managing customer relationships with our vendors, conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of marketing activities/campaigns to grow traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon.
The successful candidate will have established long-term partnerships with key vendor partners, partnered with the Retail Category Team, and built successful communication channels at all levels. They will also build and execute joint business plans that deliver on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon.
A strong analytical mind and data-driven approach are essential for this role. You will conduct deep dive analysis on vendor issues and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience. Success will be measured by the performance of your vendors on input metrics and impact on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers.
You will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize product lines for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon. With EU shift timings from 12:00 pm IST to 9:00 pm IST, you will need to be adaptable and flexible to meet the demands of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish long-term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handled.
- Partner with the Retail Category Team and build successful communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors.
- Build and execute on a joint business plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon.
- Conduct deep dive analysis on vendor issues and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience.
- Success will be measured by the performance of your vendors on input metrics and impact on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum B2.2 level German Language Certification is Mandatory, C1 preferred.
- 1+ years of account management, project or program management, buying experience, or in an operations role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA/PGDM, equivalent post-graduation.

Salary Estimate: ₹ 20 LPA - ₹ 30 LPA depending on qualifications and experience.
