Territory Sales Manager for Medtronic

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing sales within your defined regional territory.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales revenue through generating orders through clinical/operating room selling of the Hernia products & representing the organisation in accordance with its policies.
- Ensure right productivity and growth objectives for the accounts.
- Successful launch of new products by right execution and implementation in the area.
- Maintain Core customer relationship to ensure continuation of business.
- Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Pursues leads, assesses needs, and provides product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
- Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
- Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
- Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
- Ensures effective territorial coverage as per divisional standards of customers.
- Ensures implementation of promotional strategies & utilization of inputs while keeping Medtronic policies in mind.
- Ensures effective distribution by proper dealer management, operations, strategies & inputs. Also ensures that channel compliance towards Medtronic policies are completely adhered. Ensures that DSO, POC etc are maintained as per guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor in / Engineering / Science
- MBA in Sales and Marketing
- Minimum 3-6 years sales experience in Concept Selling background
- Experience of Distribution Management
- Will to travel extensively
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation.
- Strong grasp on the market and understanding around the complexities, competition, customer preferences etc.
- Ability to prioritize and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of challenges.
- Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets and customer needs) in order to develop region specific plans, strategies and tactics.
- Strong leadership and vision, assertive, and can collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization.
- Ability to quickly revector and improvise the business model if the current model is not yielding desired results.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
