Strategic Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team at Great Lakes Institute of Management. As a key member of our executive education department, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Pitching and selling customized executive education programs to CHROs and L&D Heads
- B2B consultative selling and understanding client challenges to propose effective solutions
- Negotiating and closing deals with clients
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong understanding of executive education packaging and L&D principles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Preferred Qualifications
- L&D experience and ability to design programs for executives
- Understanding of various learning methodologies and pedagogies
- Executive presence, communication, and networking skills
- Professional appearance and grooming
Salary Range
$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
