PUMA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Lead to join our team in the Kids category. This role will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing category strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve sales and profit targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Growth: Develop and execute category strategies to drive business growth, increase sales, and improve profitability.
- Category Management: Manage category performance, including assortment planning, product development, and inventory management.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a cross-functional team of sales, marketing, and operational professionals to achieve business objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product development teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of category strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform category strategies and optimize business performance.
- Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to communicate category strategies and performance.
- Education: MBA or Degree in Business Studies; related education in Fashion Management an added advantage.
- Experience: 3+ years working experience in sports-lifestyle business; 1+ year experience in team management.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, strategic decision-making, stakeholder management, influencing, and communicating skills.
- Technical Skills: General knowledge of go-to-market processes, strong analytical skills, technical product knowledge, and fluency in English at business level.
PUMA offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of ₹ 1200000 per annum, bonuses, and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
LocationThis role is based in India and requires frequent travel to other locations within the country.
