Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Analyst for Category Intelligence to support a data-driven business fueled by analytics, delivering merchandising and marketing strategies to drive GMV and profit goals, grow market share, and enhance guest satisfaction for your category.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Business & Assortment Strategies: Utilize data and analytics to analyze the business category, supporting assortment strategy through market research and benchmarking against key marketplace/sellers. Support monthly business goal planning and forecasting, manage category insights for expansion, and curated assortment experience.
- Pricing and Promo Insights: Deliver seamless guest experience and value through competitive promotion planning and ensure we are competitively priced.
- Global CFT Partnership: Collaborate locally and globally across teams and work closely with Product, Technology, Merchandising, Item, and Operations to ensure a seamless category experience, incorporating product automations, key item strategy, and enhancing overall performance.
- Seller Partner Collaborations: Manage vendor relationships for Category/Essential Tiers, ensuring alignment with business objectives through strategic planning and forecasting. Provide analytical support for strategic and Preferred tier partners.
- Business Insights & Reporting: Enable and oversee Business & Partner Reporting data development for accurate and seamless on-time SLAs and monitor and drive operational KPIs at the BU level.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 6+ years of experience in merchandising function, forecasting, and data-fueled product selection
- 4+ years managing an ecommerce business, business analytics with specific experience related to marketing and site experience and optimization preferred
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships, develop Business Operations, Enhance Selling and Category Development
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with strong planning and organizational skills
The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This is a high-paying opportunity for individuals who possess the necessary skills and qualifications.
