Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Director to join our team in Chennai. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Pi Cloud (Enterprise Cloud Platform at Pi) to enterprise and public sector customers as a key focus area where they possess the sales and technical expertise required to conduct all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Drive deals from opportunity, identification, validation, and qualification to closing the deal.
  • Present the value of cloud solutions to all levels of customer's management and drive sales.
  • Participate and team up with technical, pre-sales, and 'Partner Specialists' to provide complete solutions to customers.
  • Responsible for building and proposing transformational services to customers, identifying triggers and key IT issues that impact the business, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Build and develop business case, provide relevant and sound business & technical advice to the customer and present the same to various stakeholders within the company.
  • Map competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies, often in conjunction with Partners.

Requirements

  • Overall, 8-12 years of cloud and IT managed services sales experience with a proven track record.
  • At least 4 years' experience in selling to customers at the CXO level (executives).
  • Experience in solution selling, i.e., IaaS, Cloud Services, Cloud DR Services, and IaaS.
  • Good conceptual knowledge of Cloud and Data Center technologies (servers, storage, networks, cloud, middleware, etc.) & IT Service Management.
  • Extensive experience in developing new accounts (hunting) and have the capability to translate customer business concerns into requirements and translate the same into business.
  • Have managed large conglomerates and must have extensively engaged with CXOs and CIOs in their respective regions.
  • Must have deep connections with the partner ecosystem in the region.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.

Estimated Salary: ₹40,00,000 - ₹60,00,000 per annum
