Strategic Sales Director for Education Sector

Talasha is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Director to spearhead our school shoes business in India. Our company has been funded by prominent investors and is driven by industry veterans from the USA and India, with a mission to create high-quality, sustainable footwear designed exclusively for Indian feet.

Job Overview
- This role involves owning the institutional sales funnel end-to-end and executing a robust business development plan for our school shoes business in the territory.
- You will be responsible for generating leads, pitching our product to distributors, channel partners, and schools, and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Explore and identify unconventional partnerships to expand our reach with schools via channel partners such as schoolbook publishing houses, uniform vendors, ED-Tech companies, etc.
- Attend industry events to build a network of potential leads and make sales presentations/pitches to target consumers.
- Negotiate prices, drive efficient account management, and coordinate smooth operational execution with distributors/channel in the fulfillment process.
- Follow up on payments and ensure timely collection from clients.
- Be the primary Point of Contact for clients/distributors and follow up on repeat orders.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in institutional sales to education and related sectors.
- Experience in full-funnel management of B2B sales and key account management.
- Strong communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
- The salary for this position ranges between Rs. 10-15 Lakhs (including variable component).
- The location for this role is Bangalore.
