Job Title: Sales Team Operations Manager

Location: Pune, India

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Sales Team Operations Manager to join our team at Wesco Anixter. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the sales process by working closely with marketing, inside sales, suppliers, and other internal departments to coordinate selling opportunities for assigned outside sales personnel.
  • Schedule sales calls and deploy field technical specialists as necessary.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with sales personnel and technical specialists after customer visits to update the CRM database and provide follow-up communication to internal resources and external customers.
  • Provide data reports to the sales team as needed or requested.
  • Offer pricing support to management and outside sales personnel.
  • Collaborate with inside sales, suppliers, centers of excellence, and customers to ensure timely and accurate execution of projects.
  • Participate in regular meetings to measure progress towards set objectives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the outside sales team.
  • Assist with facility management, including office reconfiguration, supervision of cleaning services, vending machine management, supervision of fire and security systems, and conflict resolution with building management offices and engineers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Associate's degree (U.S.)/College diploma (Canada) preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in direct sales or a sales-related support role.
  • 1 year of experience in sales data analytics.
  • Proven knowledge of vendor selection, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and evaluation procedures.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented individual with strong research skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of office travel management processes and vertical market conditions.
  • Understanding of inventory concepts and finance principles.
  • Leadership and team management skills.

Salary: ₹750,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
