Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an Area Sales Manager to generate business for the ENOX brand in Akola. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and expanding secondary and tertiary sales through channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver revenue objectives for ENOX Retail business in the assigned territory
  • Review distribution channel performance and identify gaps
  • Expand reach and counter presence through new channel partners
  • Build demand generation for all product categories through retail market activations
  • Engage with key influencers like carpenters and local contractors/architects/builders
  • Support working capital management through timely collection of outstanding payments
  • Formulate promotional activities for brand building
  • Organize product knowledge sessions for channel partners
  • Increase secondary sales through counter presence, territory reach, and product visibility
  • Conduct market analysis and support forecasts and budgeting

Requirements:

  • Functional knowledge of retail business, preferably in the building material industry
  • Knowledge of architect base in the assigned territory
  • Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
  • Responsive, organized, and energetic
  • High level of integrity and ownership of responsibilities
  • Drive for results and execution excellence
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Education Qualification & Experience:

  • Any Graduate
  • 8 to 10 years of previous total experience, with preferable exposure to the building material glass or hardware industry

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned territory to generate business
