Job Description:

Rakuten is looking for an Enterprise Sales Director to lead our SDR team. This role involves managing a team of 6, driving sales activities, and ensuring pipeline growth in designated territories. As a key member of our Boston office, you will work closely with sales and marketing to enhance sales outreach activities and participate in the SDR recruiting process and make hiring decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in developing successful sales teams. They will be responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding team goals for activity, hiring, and pipeline creation, while assessing team needs and recommending training plans and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive SDR activity metrics and grow pipeline in specific territories.
  • Coach, manage performance, and develop the career paths of team members.
  • Partner with business development and sales operations to enhance sales outreach performance.

Requirements and Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Development Manager with a background as an Account Executive or in a similar closing position.
- Ability to coach and hold team members accountable for results.
- Solid understanding of reporting, forecasting, and B2B sales processes.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Experience in the IT sector and B2B sales or customer support.

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year.
