Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Development Manager to lead our sales development initiatives in India. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating and executing a blueprint to build a future-ready sales organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to drive business growth in the General Trade environment
- Oversee the sales development cost center, ensuring optimal utilization of resources
- Leverage emerging trends and technologies to enhance sales capabilities and efficiency
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including Urban Distributors and Rural Superstockists
Sales Automation and Analytics
- Ensure the effectiveness of Sales Force Automation solutions, including Distributor Software and Handheld terminals
- Extract value from opportunities using New-age Sales Analytics solutions
Sales Capability Development
- Create and articulate a capability roadmap for the sales organization
- Work with the Training team to develop and execute sales capability blueprints
- Own the Reward and Recognition Programs for the Sales and Health care Excellence Team
About You
We are looking for a seasoned professional with 9-11 years of experience in FMCG/ Food/ Non-Food/ Pharma. Your background should include a strong understanding of sales development, GTM strategies, and sales analytics. A Tier 1/2 MBA qualification and excellent communication skills are essential.
