Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Category Manager for our Skincare and Haircare division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative category strategies that drive sales and enhance profitability. This role involves analyzing market trends, optimizing product assortments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and elevate our brand in the beauty market.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies for skincare and hair care, aligned with company objectives and market demands.
  • Conduct market research to analyze consumer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor offerings in the beauty industry.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional activities to maximize category performance.
  • Manage product assortments, pricing strategies, and inventory levels to ensure optimal sales and profitability in the skincare and hair care categories.
  • Monitor category performance, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to senior management.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to create effective promotional strategies and product launches that resonate with target audiences.
  • Lead cross-functional projects related to product development, sourcing, and market entry for new skincare and hair care products.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and consumer preferences to continuously refine category strategies.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cosmetology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in category management or product management within the skincare or hair care industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and trends affecting the skincare and hair care markets.
