: Business Development Manager - IT Services Sales (Primary Title)

About The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing on-site Business Development Manager to drive new logo acquisition and revenue expansion across India. This role blends strategic enterprise prospecting with technical sales enablement—ideal for a results-oriented seller who can translate complex IT/SaaS value propositions into closed deals.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new mid-market and enterprise accounts for IT/SaaS and cloud communications solutions across India (full sales cycle ownership).
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting in CRM; execute targeted outbound campaigns and leverage account-based strategies to accelerate revenue.
  • Coordinate demos, PoCs and technical scoping with product and engineering teams to craft commercially viable proposals and pricing.
  • Prepare and lead RFP/RFQ responses and commercial negotiations to secure favourable contract terms and win rates.
  • Drive account expansion through upsell and cross-sell motions; build trusted executive relationships and become a strategic advisor to clients.
  • Collaborate with delivery and customer success to ensure smooth onboarding, SLA adherence and to capture customer references and case studies.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Proven track record of enterprise or mid-market SaaS/IT services sales in India.
  • Experience managing full sales cycle and achieving quota in an on-site sales role.
  • Strong CRM discipline with Salesforce or HubSpot for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated success responding to RFPs and preparing technical-commercial proposals.
  • Effective commercial negotiation skills and experience closing multi-quarter deals.
  • Ability to work closely with technical teams to scope PoCs and translate product capabilities into business outcomes.

Preferred

  • Domain experience in CPaaS, cloud communications or unified communications.
  • Experience managing channel partners and alliances to drive joint revenue.
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services and enterprise procurement cycles.
