Business Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our manpower organization. The BDE will be responsible for acquiring and managing IT & Non-IT clients, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth through recruitment and staffing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify, target, and acquire new IT & Non-IT clients for staffing and manpower services.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR managers, Talent Acquisition Heads, and Business Leaders of client organizations.
· Understand client requirements and align staffing/recruitment solutions accordingly.
· Achieve business development targets including revenue, client acquisition, and client retention.
· Generate leads through networking, cold calling, client visits, and participation in industry events.
· Prepare business proposals, client presentations, and customized solutions for IT & Non-IT clients.
· Negotiate contracts, terms of service, and pricing with prospective clients.
· Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of manpower.
· Maintain CRM/database of clients, prospects, and opportunities.
· Prepare weekly/monthly reports on leads, conversions, and revenue pipeline.
· Stay updated with market trends, IT industry hiring patterns, and competitors
· Provide inputs to management for strategic planning and growth.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / HR / Marketing / IT or related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven experience in business development / client acquisition in manpower/recruitment or HR consulting firms.
- Strong exposure to IT & Non-IT recruitment business is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of IT & Non-IT industry hiring trends and talent needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong networking and client relationship management abilities.
- Target-driven with proven track record in achieving sales/revenue goals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with recruitment teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google sheets and CRM tools.
