Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities
in the semiconductor/VLSI ecosystem (fabless, IDMs, OEMs, design houses). - Build and maintain a
robust pipeline of new prospects
through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events. - Drive the
end-to-end sales cycle
, from lead generation to closure, including proposal creation, negotiation, and contract signing. - Understand client needs and position the company's
VLSI design and verification services
(e.g., RTL design, DFT, STA, physical design, analog/mixed-signal design, verification). - Work closely with pre-sales, engineering, and delivery teams to tailor technical solutions and service offerings.
- Attend semiconductor trade shows, conferences, and webinars to promote services and build brand awareness.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs (pipeline growth, meetings, closures, revenue)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's is a plus).
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience
in the semiconductor/VLSI industry, with a strong focus on
new client acquisition
. - Proven track record of closing complex B2B technical service deals.
- In-depth knowledge of
VLSI design flows
, EDA tools, and semiconductor industry dynamics. - Strong network of contacts within semiconductor and fabless companies (globally or regionally).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle rejection, and keep momentum high
