Role Summary

We're looking for a
Business Development professional
with experience in the renewable energy or green hydrogen sector to drive Ossus' growth and partnerships. In this role, you'll identify new business opportunities, forge key collaborations, and contribute directly to expanding India's clean energy footprint.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the hydrogen and renewable energy space.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand Ossus' presence in target markets and sectors.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, partnership models, and business cases for potential clients and investors.
  • Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to align business objectives with project capabilities.
  • Track market trends, policy developments, and competitor activities in the green hydrogen and cleantech domain.
  • Represent Ossus at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in renewable energy, hydrogen, or industrial sustainability sectors.
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, project development, and government incentives related to clean energy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and close high-value deals.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Good to Have

  • Experience working with green hydrogen, bioenergy, or industrial decarbonization projects.
  • Familiarity with ESG, carbon markets, or sustainability consulting.
  • Technical or business background in engineering, energy management, or environmental sciences.
