Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Officer / Manager to lead growth initiatives in the Space, Aerospace, and Defence domains. This role involves lead generation, client relationship management, and technical sales of electronic components, focusing on new customer acquisition, developing relations with existing customers and strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electronics and proven experience in business development or sales within the Space or Defence industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Space, Aerospace, and Defence sectors.
 - Generate qualified leads and drive sales of electronic components and solutions.
 - Meet customers, understand technical and procurement requirements, and provide customized product offerings.
 - Conduct market research on emerging technologies, upcoming projects, and new business prospects.
 - Maintain long-term client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
 - Work closely with internal teams to develop technical proposals and quotations.
 - Track project lifecycles and ensure timely follow-ups for business closure.
 - Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences related to Space and Defence.
 
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, RF Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
 - Minimum 4–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Space or Defence electronics sector (mandatory).
 - Excellent technical understanding of electronic components and applications.
 - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
 - Demonstrated go-getter attitude and ability to achieve sales targets.
 - Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and business development.
 - Fluency in Gujarati and English is required.
 - Based in or willing to relocate to Ahmedabad.
