Position: Learning & Development Manager

Location: Ahmedabad

Staff Strength: 350+

Job Description:

We are seeking a L&D Manager to establish and lead Speed's internal upskilling and cross-learning programs.

This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling initiatives that ensure our teams continuously grow, share knowledge, and stay ahead in the fast-evolving fintech and crypto landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and Lead L&D Function: Establish the L&D framework and strategy for Speed, aligned with business goals and employee growth needs.
• Design Cross-Learning Programs: Create opportunities for employees to share expertise across teams (e.g., engineering → product, compliance → operations).
• Upskilling Initiatives: Identify skill gaps and implement training programs (technical, leadership, product knowledge, compliance, etc.).
• Learning Culture: Foster a culture of continuous learning through workshops, mentorship, peer-to-peer sessions, and learning resources.
• Program Management: Develop and manage onboarding, leadership development, career pathways, and certification programs.
• Measure Impact: Track and report effectiveness of L&D initiatives using relevant metrics (engagement, productivity, retention).
• External Partnerships: Collaborate with external trainers, industry experts, and ed-tech platforms when specialized programs are needed.
• Enable Growth: Support managers in coaching their teams and enabling professional growth across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven success in building and scaling learning programs in a fast-paced organization (startup or tech/fintech preferred).
• Strong understanding of modern learning methods (e-learning, workshops, blended learning, cohort-based programs).
• Ability to translate business needs into learning strategies.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Creative, resourceful, and passionate about people development.
• Bonus: Experience in fintech, crypto, or highly regulated industries.
