A Business Development Manager (BDM) focuses on driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and developing strategic plans to increase revenue. Core responsibilities include researching market trends and potential clients, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, developing sales and marketing strategies, and collaborating with sales and design teams to align services with market needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research on target markets, competitors, and industry trends to identify potential growth areas.
  • Lead Generation: Pursue and qualify leads, and nurture them through the sales funnel to develop a strong client pipeline.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's presence and enter new markets.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Set sales targets, forecast revenue, and work with the sales team to close new business deals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and design, to ensure successful product and service delivery.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor sales progress and performance, and use data analysis to inform strategy and forecasting.
