**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Planning and Instruction**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English language and literature.
- Teach concepts of grammar, composition, prose, poetry, and drama in alignment with the curriculum guidelines (CBSE, ICSE, IB, or State Board).
- Prepare students for board exams, including teaching examination techniques and providing practice through assignments, tests, and mock exams.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to make lessons interactive and enjoyable.
- Stay updated with changes in the curriculum and ensure compliance.
- **Student Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments such as tests, quizzes, and assignments.
- Evaluate and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help improve their performance.
- Identify students’ strengths and areas of improvement and offer targeted support.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain a disciplined, respectful, and collaborative classroom environment.
- Address student behavior issues promptly and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- **Extracurricular Contributions**:

- Encourage students to participate in literary events such as debates, elocution, poetry recitation, and essay competitions.
- Organize or guide students in activities like school plays, storytelling sessions, and creative writing clubs.
- **Parental Engagement**:

- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share strategies to enhance student learning at home.
- **Professional Growth**:

- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to share ideas and best practices.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other academic performance data.
- Contribute to school events, staff meetings, and departmental planning sessions.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
