**Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Deliver lessons in English language and literature to senior secondary school students (classes 11 and 12).
- Teach grammar, writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills to enhance students’ overall proficiency in English.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, multimedia presentations, group work, and project-based learning, to keep students engaged.
- Encourage creative writing, critical thinking, and effective communication skills in students.
- **Curriculum Development and Planning**:

- Design and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum prescribed by the educational board (CBSE, ICSE, or state board).
- Develop learning materials, including worksheets, handouts, and study resources, to support the curriculum.
- Integrate a range of literary genres (poetry, prose, plays, fiction) to help students appreciate English literature and its context.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct regular assessments through quizzes, assignments, projects, and exams to evaluate students' language proficiency and literary understanding.
- Grade and provide detailed feedback on assignments, essays, and exams.
- Prepare students for board exams and assist in mock tests and revision sessions.
- Track individual progress and identify areas for improvement, providing additional support where needed.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation and student engagement.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure productive learning and minimize disruptions.
- Foster a culture of respect for different viewpoints, especially during literature discussions.
- **Student Support and Mentorship**:

- Provide personalized attention to students struggling with language or literature topics.
- Offer guidance and support during exam preparation and assignments.
- Encourage students to read widely and participate in literary activities such as debates, dramatics, and essay writing competitions.
- Motivate students to pursue further education in language, literature, and related fields.
- **Co-Curricular Activities**:

- Organize and participate in co-curricular activities related to English, such as literary clubs, book reviews, poetry recitations, debate competitions, and drama productions.
- Encourage students to engage with different forms of English literature, from classical works to contemporary authors.
- Facilitate student involvement in cultural programs, literary fests, and inter-school competitions.
- **Parent-Teacher Interaction**:

- Maintain communication with parents to discuss students’ academic progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Hold parent-teacher meetings to provide insights into student development and address concerns.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies, English language trends, and literature developments.
- Attend professional development workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, teaching strategies, and resource development.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
