**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning and Instruction**:

- Plan and deliver well-structured, age-appropriate lessons on English grammar, literature, writing, and comprehension, following the curriculum and school guidelines.
- Create interactive, engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods such as discussions, debates, multimedia, group activities, and hands-on projects.
- Incorporate different forms of literature, including novels, poetry, short stories, and non-fiction, to broaden students’ understanding of English language and culture.
- **Student Engagement and Development**:

- Foster a classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate and express their ideas freely.
- Help students develop their reading comprehension, writing skills, and grammar through targeted exercises, assignments, and in-class activities.
- Cultivate students' analytical and critical thinking abilities by encouraging them to analyze and interpret texts.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer regular assessments (tests, quizzes, essays, projects) to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and assessments, helping students improve their writing, grammar, and literary analysis.
- Track and maintain records of student performance, reporting to parents and school administration as required.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Use effective classroom management techniques to keep students focused, respectful, and on-task.
- Encourage good behavior and ensure that classroom activities are conducted in an orderly manner.
- **Support for Diverse Learners**:

- Provide additional support to students who may need help in improving their language skills, such as through one-on-one assistance or extra practice materials.
- Modify lessons and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
- **Extracurricular Participation**:

- Support and encourage students' involvement in extracurricular activities related to English, such as drama, poetry recitals, essay writing contests, and debate clubs.
- Participate in school events like literary fests, cultural programs, and inter-school competitions, promoting a love for English and literature.
- **Communication with Parents**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
- Hold parent-teacher meetings and provide updates on students’ academic and behavioral development.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in ongoing professional development, workshops, and training sessions to stay current with new teaching methods, educational tools, and curriculum changes.
- Share knowledge and resources with colleagues, collaborating to improve teaching practices within the department.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
