Zonal Sales Manager (NBA) is responsible for driving sales, managing distributor and store operations, achieving business targets, and ensuring optimal inventory management within the assigned zone. This role requires leadership skills to manage teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and execute marketing strategies effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
Achievement of Primary, Secondary, Collection discussed, agreed and decided by the company
Achievement of Collection, DSO & Ageing targets
Inventory management at the store & distributor level (FIFO & New launches)
Achievement Category & New launches targets
Maintain stock cover of 35 to 45 days at distributors
Responsible for Sales Reports and other business reports as required from time to time like Stock & Sales
Report, OPEX, Daily sales, weekly sales, summary, NBA productivity, closing stock etc
Market expansion for non assist channel
Timely submission of distributor claim
Must maintain/develop good relations with all key retailers & Distributors as well as with the sales team
Appointment of new distributors, market and geography Expansion
Execution of all Marketing/ promotional activities
Timely Reporting of all market/competition activities
The Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Experience in FMCG, Retail, or General Trade (non assist channel/Retail store) is preferred
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
