Job OverviewThe successful candidate will lead the strategic direction and growth of the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business segment, driving revenue, customer acquisition, and service excellence. Key objectives include developing innovative business strategies to create exceptional user experiences and nurturing strong relationships with upscale merchants, ultimately ensuring market leadership in the hospitality service app industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the overall D2C business strategy, aligning with the company's vision and goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, feature development, market expansion, and product support.
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for revenue growth, including new market segments, product offerings, and partnerships that enhance the D2C ecosystem.
- Owning product-level profitability by optimizing budget allocation and monitoring various costs.
- Negotiate agreements with key stakeholders like merchants, technology partners, and institutions while ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Oversee customer acquisition initiatives using digital marketing, user behavior, and user growth strategies, as well as customer retention programs to minimize churn rates and maximize lifetime value.
- Lead merchant onboarding efforts, providing support and guidance to ensure a diverse and curated selection of upscale merchants on the platform.
- Liaise with the technical program management team to prioritize feature enhancements and maintenance support.
- Evaluate and resolve merchant and consumer queries efficiently.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of D2C business initiatives and provide regular business reports to TLC leadership and other stakeholders.
Estimated Annual Salary: ₹40 Lakhs - ₹60 Lakhs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in BBA, B.Tech, or B.Com
- MBA in Sales & Marketing, Information Management preferred
- 10+ years of experience in business development, with a strong understanding of D2C business models, preferably in hospitality and/or technology
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and mobile app development
- Proficiency in data analytics and market research tools
- Understanding of B2B sales processes and D2C user growth methodologies
