Job Description:

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow sales revenue through the partner network. This includes:

  • Developing new sales channels through strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers, and retailers
  • Creating business plans with clear goals, milestones, and action points for each partner
  • Regularly reviewing each business partner's performance in line with their business plan
  • Ensuring sales quotas of each partner are monitored, managed, and achieved
  • Finding new partners in targeted geographies
  • Negotiating contracts with new partners to ensure they comply with company standards
  • Providing training and support to new partner recruits to ensure they can effectively sell the company's products or services
  • Improving the performance of existing partners
  • Evaluating the performance of existing channel partners and suggesting improvements where necessary
  • Monitoring partner performance to ensure they are meeting sales quotas and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Coordinating with other company personnel to deliver and meet customer/partner expectations
  • Acting as a bridge for communication between customers/partners and the engineering team
  • Motivating and coaching partner employees to help them meet their goals
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication with partners to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Monitoring competitor activity in the industry to identify opportunities for market share growth through the partner network
