Job Overview
Jio is seeking a skilled Cloud Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the cloud services market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for cloud solutions and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospective customers to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for cloud solutions.
- Presentation of cloud services and solutions to customers, highlighting the benefits and value proposition.
- Creation and presentation of tailored sales proposals, including pricing, deliverables, and implementation plans.
- Negotiation of sales agreements with clients, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
- Collaboration with technical and pre-sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the cloud space to effectively position products and differentiate offerings.
- Maintenance of accurate sales records and reporting on sales performance and progress to management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in cloud services.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and familiarity with Private Cloud and public cloud business.
- Skills:
- Proven sales track record and ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
Certifications
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) can be beneficial but are not always required.
