As a Business Development Manager at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships for Amazon.in within the Indian banking ecosystem.

About the Role

This is an individual contributor position based in Bangalore, where you will be part of the Strategic Partnerships team, Amazon Pay. Your primary responsibility will be to manage key relationships with India's largest banks, negotiating funding and other strategic projects with banking/network partners.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders in the Indian banking ecosystem, fostering collaboration and driving business growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including category, finance, marketing, and operations, to align goals and objectives.
  • Conduct high-level leadership workshops to establish and refine annual/quarterly joint business plans.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to conceptualize and pitch new ideas to drive buy-in from senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts, backed by extensive data analysis and stakeholder management.
  • MBA degree required.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is ₹25-40 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and location-specific factors.
