Designation: Senior Manager - Business Development & Strategy

Job Description:

A) Develop the business development function within Weber Shandwick India by establishing credentials, responding to RFPs, and creating case studies.

  • Credentials: Build trust with clients through strong relationships and innovative solutions.
  • Response to RFPs: Leverage expertise to deliver winning pitches.
  • Case studies: Showcase success stories to attract new clients.

B) Develop a business development strategy for new services, including public affairs, sustainability, employee comms, and crisis management.

  • Public affairs: Engage with stakeholders to build reputation and influence.
  • Sustainability: Help clients achieve their environmental goals.
  • Employee comms: Foster a positive work culture through effective internal communications.
  • Crisis management: Develop strategies to mitigate risks and protect clients' reputations.

C) Collaborate with global and regional teams to bring in new ideas and products into the India market, working closely with the CEO and MD on application and go-to-market strategies.

D) Drive learning and development by working with global and regional teams to learn new insights, staying up-to-date with market trends, and participating in training programs such as LinkedIn Learning and Lynda.

Experience: 6-8 years of work experience in Business Development, preferably from the Public Relations Industry.

Salary: ₹20-30 lakhs per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
