Job Summary:

Vodafone Idea Limited is a leading telecom service provider in India, offering pan-India voice and data services across 2G, 3G, and 4G platforms. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Agra Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set revenue and sales targets for the region
  • Review and evaluate channel partners to ensure reliable and effective service delivery
  • Develop and execute distribution plans to expand town coverage, appoint distributors, and add outlets
  • Judiciously use SAC budgets to maximize quality customer acquisitions
  • Strengthen market execution and trade relationships, and track market intelligence for effective decisions
  • Complete people ownership, including effective onboarding, in-market coaching, and performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and HSW norms

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Telco/FMCG
  • In-depth understanding of distribution ecosystems
  • Market understanding and development
  • Detailed sales and distribution planning
  • Motivate team and build capability
  • Skilled in conflict management and basic budget management
  • Graduate, MBA preferred
  • English and local market language
