Area Sales Manager

Vodafone Idea Limited is a leading telecom service provider in India, offering pan-India voice and data services across 2G, 3G, and 4G platforms. As a Distribution Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing infrastructure to introduce newer and smarter technologies, making both retail and enterprise customers future-ready with innovative offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set revenue and sales targets for the Agra Zone
- Review and evaluate Channel partners to ensure reliable and effective service of the market
- Ensure Distribution planning and execution intensity to enable the team to deliver on expanding town coverage, appointing distributors, adding outlets, and building quality customer relationships
- Judiciously use SAC budgets to maximize quality customer acquisitions and strengthen market execution and trade relationships
- Complete people ownership, including effective on-boarding, in-market coaching, and rigorous performance review to maximize team incentive earnings and reduce attrition
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and HSW norms by employees and extended teams
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Telco/FMCG
- In-depth understanding of Distribution ecosystem
- Market understanding and development
- Detailed Sales and Distribution planning
- Motivate team and build capability
- Skilled in conflict management
- Basic budget management skills
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- Graduate, MBA preferred
- English and local market language
- Skilled in performance analytics, review, and driving team target achievement
