Job Description
The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for securing sponsorship and exhibition revenue for our events in India. This role requires a tenacious, driven individual with excellent sales skills, who can analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in B2B conference sponsorship and exhibition sales, as well as strong analytical and creative skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to understand vendor/client relationships and industry trends
- Develop sales plans and coordinate ongoing sales initiatives
- Sell show packages to target markets and manage client relationships
- Take ownership of allocated clients, revenue targets, and new business development
- Identify and qualify new leads and input data into CRM
- Oversee administration and fulfillment of sponsorship packages sold
- Work closely with production, marketing, and sponsorship teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal sales manner and high client contact rates
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- Experience in B2B conference sponsorship and exhibition sales
- Technical experience with contract management, budget management, and proposal writing
- Experience with databases (preferably Salesforce) in mass and targeted sales campaigns
