About This JobWe are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help large offline organized retailers grow their business with Amazon Pay in India. As Manager, Business Development with Amazon Pay, you will lead a team managing National/Regional offline brands and retailers to enable payment acceptance through Amazon Pay at their physical stores.
This role focuses on acquisition and account management of these brands and offline merchants, defining and executing joint business plans to form alliances. Experience in fintech and/or managing large brand relationships is preferred.
You must possess strong relationship-building skills and be able to create win-win opportunities with merchants. Ideal candidates should have Sales and Account Management experience in managing B2B business accounts, which will form the core of merchant engagement.
The candidate should be comfortable with balancing multiple priorities, working with internal and external partners, as well as strategically analyzing data to inform decisions. To be successful in this role, one should have superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Onboard brands/merchants on Amazon Pay and manage these relationships on an ongoing basis.
- Drive Amazon Pay adoption with B2C brands/merchants by interacting with decision makers within the stores/brands.
- Cultivate business relationships with key partners/stores with a long-term vision to make Amazon Pay their preferred choice for accepting digital payments.
- Develop strategic account plans with an eye toward identifying creative, business-generating initiatives.
- 5+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- 7+ years of sales, inside sales, or business development experience.
- Experience building and hiring a sales team.
