About WNC:

Wistron NeWeb Corporation (WNC) is a leading provider of cable modem products and software solutions. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive strategic growth.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will serve as the primary liaison between WNC and key customer accounts, ensuring seamless communication, strategic alignment, and operational excellence. This role involves managing customer relationships, driving business growth, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve mutual objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be the main liaison between WNC and the customer from an end-to-end perspective, driving strategic roadmap discussions, building executive relationships, and coordinating tactical execution.
  • Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future product roadmap to drive and expand WNC's product portfolio coverage and spendshare with the customer.
  • Develop and execute strategy on cable modem products and software revenue.
  • Contribute to value adds for margin growth.
  • Manage day-to-day correspondence and communication with directors and executives within Comcast in product management, technology, and procurement.
  • Initiate direct business relationships and interaction with top influencers and decision makers to obtain desired objectives.
  • Interface with supply chain, sourcing, marketing, and product development to ensure continuity of messaging from WNC and obtain critical information necessary to sustain growing business.
  • Closely coordinate with customer inventory planning and WNC Ops to ensure supply chain continuity.
  • Coordinate and lead meeting planning, travel planning, and meeting agenda creation.
  • Proactively review and scrutinize the customer forecast and validate the figures with marketing to avoid supply gaps.
  • Analyze and evaluate business opportunities on a quantitative and qualitative level.
  • Participate in executive meetings, lead discussion as needed, and develop pre-meeting strategy briefs to prepare all WNC attendees for possible discussion topics.
  • Organize and coordinate quarterly business review meetings, ensuring all topical needs from both WNC and customer are addressed.
  • Travel to Taiwan and Vietnam as needed to accompany key customers.
  • Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, lead the charge for maximizing business inside the market of the account.
  • Lead account planning process, develop performance objectives, financial targets.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel, including supply chain, quality management, and strategic business development.
  • Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor in managing customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and above or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to demonstrate good written, verbal English, and presentation skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
