We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Manager for Growth Markets to lead our efforts in acquiring and retaining key merchants across India.

About Us: Paytm is a leading digital payments and financial services company, driving consumers and merchants to its platform through various payment use cases. We empower consumers with services like utility payments and money transfers, while offering merchants acquiring devices and commerce services through advertising and our Mini app store.

The Team: Our EDC Retail team helps merchants grow and manage their business through simplicity and data-driven technology.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:
  • New account acquisition for Paytm's payments solutions, focusing on key outlets
  • Account management of existing base visit accounts, building and maintaining relationships
  • Engaging onboarded accounts with Paytm's quality products
  • Managing on-roll Key Account Managers (KAMs) and motivating them for better sales
  • Acquiring large standalone accounts, multiple stores/MID accounts, city/regional chains for payment solutions
  • Retention and cross-sales of other Paytm products

Requirements and Expectations:
  • You should be a self-starter who can take ownership and navigate ambiguity comfortably
  • A passion for working in a fast-growing firm with a willingness to get hands-on
  • Honesty and trustworthiness are essential virtues
  • Good sales and negotiation skills, with interest in financial products and market knowledge
