Role Overview

Zemanta Inc is seeking an experienced Sales Development and Planning leader to drive revenue growth and optimize sales operations. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing the lead-to-opportunity pipeline and providing strategic support for senior sales leadership.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading global sales planning, including building and managing a team of SDRs. The ideal candidate will have expert-level experience with Salesforce, including creating dashboards and overall system proficiency. Given the global nature of this role, the successful candidate must be comfortable working across time zones and cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve sales efficiency.
  • Build and manage a high-performing SDR team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Implement training programs that equip teams with the knowledge required for effective outbound prospecting.
  • Take ownership of team performance, including coaching and improvement plans for individual team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and evolve the prospecting process, incorporating industry best practices.
  • Implement strategies to optimize the use of sales motion-driven propositions in outbound efforts.
  • Develop data-driven insights and recommendations on pipeline, segmentation, and targeting, and sales motion.
  • Oversee the utilization of technology tools, including SFDC and specialized tech sales tools.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of leadership experience in global B2B sales operations within the technology, advertising, or marketing sectors.
  • Experience with technically oriented selling; willingness and ability to learn new, complex concepts and apply them.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize processes and strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with technology-focused sales tools and CRM systems (SFDC, Outreach, 6Sense, etc).

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
