Digital Sales Manager

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead digital ad sales efforts in the South region for Rooter, a leading gaming and esports platform. As a Digital Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through advertising, performance marketing, and other brand-related monetization channels in the respective region.
You will work closely with agency and brand stakeholders to identify business opportunities for Rooter, opening new markets across India and selling ad inventories for the product. Your primary objective will be to drive online media sales, increasing revenue and establishing brand position among online advertisers.
The role requires a strong understanding of digital advertising trends, metrics, and solution-selling skills. You will build, manage, and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, online ad networks/agencies, and maintain a threshold of Ad Sales revenue monthly.
Responsibilities:
- Sell/pitch advertising solutions to key clients and agencies
- Work closely with Operations and Brand Solutions teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Drive revenues with key agencies and clients
- Analyze and produce reports for management
- Maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Ad sales (preferably digital) with any advertising company/ad network/publisher/ad-tech company
- Strong relationships with agencies and clients
- Skill set including fluency in solution selling, pricing, inventory control, brand building, etc.
- Able to prospect, cold call, negotiate, and close deals
