
Business Development Lead

This role involves playing a key part in driving business growth and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be working closely with the client services team to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet renewal business broking revenues according to annual targets and handle employee benefit insurance renewals for existing clients.
- Generate cross-sell business revenues from existing clients as per annual targets.
- Develop and implement client renewal processes, including negotiating premiums.
- Design and implement client benefits strategies according to client principles.
- Lead and conclude all legal documentation and discussions with the respective legal teams.
- Initiate, maintain, and structure positive relationships with collaborators at the client end.
- Act as the client steward and initiate stewardship activities related to the account in a timely manner.
- Provide consulting services such as benchmarking, claims reviews, and projects with support from the Location Leader.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and advise them on employee benefits, making recommendations for service providers that suit their needs optimally.
- Effective communication, presentation, consultative selling, advising, and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of the insurance benefits market in India with some knowledge of international trends.
- Consulting approach, strong analytical abilities, competitive spirit, teamwork values, ability to manage ambiguous situations, and quick learning capabilities.
- Worked with small and medium accounts with multifaceted expectations.
- Multifaceted self-motivated teammate with a track record of continuously upgrading one's knowledge base through seminars, training, reading, etc., to ensure distinctive client value.
