Business Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Design, implement, and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to maximize performance, productivity, and goal attainment.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify risks and growth opportunities, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Sales Forecasting & Budgeting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, manage budgets, track performance, and take corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all sales activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable financial regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7-10 years of proven experience in sales within the banking or financial services sector, with a focus on commercial loans or corporate lending.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, credit assessment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and business insights.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
